Exchange with Cheltenham College

After many years without an exchange partner at the British Isles we have found one in the renowned Cheltenham College in Gloucestershire ( http://www.cheltenhamcollege.org/ ). This week the first group of RLO students will fly across the Channel to visit this private boarding school. It is situated in a nice area called the Cotswolds which is not far from the Welsh border.

Our 10 students - mainly from grade 9 - will experience something totally new for them: boarding! That means you don't live with a family but in a dormitory with prefects and housemasters. The houses have different names and compete with each other - something you probably know from the Harry Potters books.

The teachers accompanying our students are Mr Schirm and Mrs Fricke, a teacher in training. Next Wednesday, we'll come back together with the English guests. Then, our students will be their hosts for one week which means a change for the Cheltonians as they will live in families.

We're really looking forward to the exchange and will try keep you up to date.
