Day 2 in Berlin - Friday

Isn't it nice - we're back to school! RLO is really different from Cheltenham College but it was nice to see our classmates again. We stayed only for 3 lessons and then left for a lesson on history: We went to Checkpoint Charlie where we looked back at the time when this great town was divided. Afterwards, our tour took us to Potsdamer Platz - perhaps a place where you can see most impressively how a barren area where only walls and soldiers could be seen before the wall came down has been changed into a lively meeting point for people from all over the world,  with quite impressive architecture.

  1. Yesterday we had to go to the first three lessons in our school. I think that our english exchange students enjoyed our lessons but I don't think that they understood vey much! After the third lesson we had lunch in school, but they thought that the food at school was not as good as the food at home.
At 1 o'clock we went to 'Checkpoint Charlie' which was a very interesting experience for the english students.
There we visited a museum that was very interesting and there we learned some new facts about the DDR.
After that we went to the Potsdammer Platz which was the end of the our day.
